CAIR demanded that Axon Enterprise halt shipments of electroshock weapons to Israel, citing an investigation by The Guardian and Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism. The investigation found that the American manufacturer has supplied Taser weapons to Israeli security forces despite documentation that they are used to torture Palestinian detainees in detention facilities.

Released detainees described being restrained, doused with water, and repeatedly shocked, according to the investigation. The UN Committee Against Torture documented a sharp escalation of abuse and electrocution in Israeli detention facilities since October 2023. Amnesty International and other human rights organizations have published similar findings.

CAIR stated in a statement: "It is unconscionable that equipment manufactured by an American corporation is reportedly being used to carry out acts of torture and abuse against detained Palestinians." The organization called on Axon to end contracts and shipments of electroshock weapons to Israeli authorities and urged the U.S. Department of Commerce to enforce export restrictions against governments involved in human rights violations.
